# Vote

The amount of rewards per pool is decided via [Gauge](/docs/protocol/gauge.md) voting. Pools receive an amount of rewards proportional to their share of the total votes. To vote, users have to [Lock](/docs/protocol/lock.md) their PEG tokens first.\

Voting for a gauge means you earn a share of the bribes for that gauge.<br>
